1. Call the meeting to order 8:00PM

3. Board Reports
a. Treasurers Report
i. New Excel form for check requests. This form contains the same information as word document. Allows us to itemize.
ii. Tom R requested Jason provide balance info for each team.

b. Rec Baseball Report
i. Fall ball is successfully up and running.
ii. Tom B requested itemized bill of what was spent on equipment etc. for fall ball.
iii. 92 players for fall baseball.
iv. 3 11-12 teams
v. 3 9-10 teams
vi. 2 7-8 teams

c. Travel Baseball Report
i. All travel teams have their prices in
ii. Travel team fee will be $400 for this year we expect to raise it to $500 for next year
iii. All $250 deposits due by September 30th
iv. Leadership Through Athletics will offer a discount if we can get four practices a week to use the facility
v. Old CES will still be available for indoor practices

d. Baseball Rules Committee Report
i. 11-12 fall ball testing out leading and stealing rules
ii. Bat rules may change to comply with USSA rules for spring 2020
iii. Rules review with changes for rec and travel should be ready for January board meeting

4. Old Business
a. Board Votes
i. Travel Player Refunds.
1. The board approved a $250.00 non-refundable deposit due by 8/30/2019 and every year after on 9/30.
2. The board approved changing the refund service fee from $10.00 to $25.00 to cover the cost of the service fee imposed by TeamSnap.
3. The board approved changing the wording for the Travel Refund Policy. The specific wording is below.
a. “I understand that there is a non-refundable $250.00 deposit when accepting a player position for a travel team. I also understand that no refunds will be made after the participant has attended the first practice. Refund requests must be submitted in writing (e-mail acceptable) prior to first practice. Refund requests are to include the participant’s name and reason for the request. A $25.00 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds without regard to the reason for the request.”

5. New Business
a. Finance Committee Creation
i. To review all finances and provide a cost analysis for uniform, equipment and other various costs.
ii. To create a method that can be used to accurately price registrations for Rec baseball in the Spring.
iii. Committee is to have all reports submitted to the board no later than December 1, 2019.
iv. Jason Hollencamp will chair the finance committee
v. Tom Bluemenauer and Tom Rainier will work with Jason on finance committee

b. Board Meeting Location and Time
i. Possibly moving meetings to other locations in Catonsville
ii. Board will continue to meet on the first Thursday of every month
c. Fall Baseball Field Allocation
i. We must have number of fall baseball teams 90 days prior to the season so that we can make adequate field requests
